An elevated state of co-created flow

the revolutionary artistic movement from the 1960s that blurred boundaries between art and life, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and the democratization of creative expression with a focus on PROCESS over PRODUCT.

FLUX Circles are dynamic, community-driven gatherings that focus on reclaiming the true transformative power of music. They are an inclusive, collaborative space where every participant connects and contributes as a musical being – whether through singing, playing, storytelling, dancing, or simply being present. We describe the core practice as “becoming music together”, cultivating collective harmony through improvisation, deep listening, and co-creation. FLUX Circles are more than just musical experiences; they serve as living laboratories for building community and collective well-being, teaching participants how to connect, trust, and collaborate in real-time.

3. From "Universal FLUX":

David Bohm’s concept of the “holomovement” that describes the “dance of the universe” as an undivided, dynamic whole, where all parts are interconnected and constantly in motion.

FLUX is about:

Participating over Spectating

Creation over Consumption

Entrainment over Entertainment

Mission

Our mission is to create a global community of 100 independent circles within the next five years – a community of communities where people come together to practice harmony, connection, and collective creativity.

We aim to make the practice accessible to anyone that is called, as well as assist and promote the creation of circles stewarded by the communities they serve.

We aspire to celebrate and promote “irresistibly human culture” — one that is authentic, inclusive, accessible and that serves as an inspiration to ourselves and others.

We are committed to spread “the vibe” and “the wisdom” with absolute integrity for the benefit of all.

We aim to make a positive impact; fully aware of the effects of this practice - from individual healing and creative development to promoting resilience, trust, dialogue, freedom, coexistence, social cohesion, civic engagement, and other democratic values in a time when it is most needed.

A brief history of FLUX circles

Although FLUX Circles draw inspiration from ancestral musical practices, rituals, and the simple act of “sitting in circle,” they have evolved into a community-driven movement over the past year. Jurgis Didziulis, who has spent over a decade serving nearly a thousand organizations and communities with a unique methodology focused on community-building and organizational culture, initially envisioned FLUX Circles as a side project. It began as a creative outlet to explore the principles of collective co-creation outside the corporate framework while serving the local community.

With the support of regenerative initiatives, wellness advocates, and a vibrant community, a movement has emerged on the island of Ibiza. FLUX Circles have attracted world-class musicians, facilitators, spiritual practitioners, and stewards of ancient traditions. Over the past year, the practice has been thoughtfully refined and expanded, focusing on both its “mythology” and “methodology” as well as developing best practices to ensure sustainable growth. It has blossomed into a true beacon of authentic expression and celebration, offering a coherent expression of a more harmonious relationship between humanity and the natural world.

Impact

FLUX Circles have a profound impact on both individual and collective well-being. By fostering trust, tolerance, and mutual respect, they create a safe space for freedom of expression and intercultural dialogue. Participants experience personal growth through the development of essential skills such as deep listening, self-expression, and creative collaboration. At the collective level, FLUX Circles promote coexistence and unity, prototyping a microcosm for building harmonious relationships across diverse social dimensions.

At the intersection of creativity, community, civic engagement, and “proto-politics”, FLUX Circles equip individuals with the foundational skills needed to come together and forge shared outcomes. They encourage participants to imagine new possibilities, explore collective creativity, and engage in meaningful dialogue. By doing so, they act as a catalyst for reimagining civic spaces where freedom of speech, collaboration, and shared humanity flourish. Ultimately, they inspire and encourage communities to envision and co-create a more harmonious and connected future.

Origins and history of the practice

For hundreds of thousands of years, humans have created tribes and communities through collective ritual and creative expression. “FLUX Circles” is a modern name for this ancient practice, rooted in the universal act of sitting together to harmonize and co-create. At its core lies the magic of music – a pre-linguistic form of communication that has been vital to humanity’s survival and evolution. Through music, traditions have been passed down, stories have been shared, and connections have been forged in ways that transcend words.

The power of collective creativity lies in its ability to unlock deeper truths and facilitate transformation. Alejandro Jodorowsky’s concept of Psychomagic, which uses artistic expression as a form of emotional and psychological healing, resonates deeply within FLUX Circles. Here, music and improvisation become tools for transcending personal limitations and dissolving barriers, allowing participants to access a shared intelligence that fosters connection and transformation. This aligns with Yuval Noah Harari’s idea of collective fictions – the stories and shared beliefs that drive civilizations and enable humans to aggregate potential on a massive scale. In FLUX Circles, these shared creative acts help participants imagine new possibilities and weave a collective sense of purpose and meaning.

This process also embraces the concept of "communitas" – a state of collective togetherness and shared humanity that arises in transformative group experiences. As participants lock into rhythms and harmonies, they enter a state of collective flow, where individual egos dissolve, and the group achieves transcendental coherence and unity. This synergy not only enhances personal development but also strengthens the bonds that underpin communities, creating a space for collective creativity and human potential to thrive.

Sitting in a circle is an act of collective becoming, a ritual that transforms individuals into a cohesive whole, fostering trust, harmony, and shared purpose. This practice is not just an act of artistic expression; it is a societal tool for building community, nurturing relationships, and imagining shared futures. By reclaiming this ancestral wisdom, FLUX Circles offer a powerful framework for creating unity, connection, and meaning in an increasingly fragmented society.
